Our youngsters
Ripping up their league, surely some of them are better than the likes of Sanchez and Arjeti? Is he just scared to play them?

Re: Our youngsters
If Ben Johnson is fit after some games back with the u23’s he must come into contention at right back ahead of headless chicken Fredericks and OAP Zabaletta.
Said elsewhere that if Conor Coventry isn’t better than Sanchez he should retire

Re: Our youngsters
Holland is knocking on the door and has had a couple of cameo appearances.

Might find it hard to get a look-in now that Antonio is back though and having forked out over £55m on Anderson and Fornals.

Any chance Moyes might gives some of them a chance?

i am being told that two schoolboy goalkeepers have been signed as first year scholars in our youth set up.

They join JINADO, SANNEH, and ROACH in our u 18s

Keep repeating - u23 football is a joke

Just watched Newcastle's top scorer in the PL2 last season spend 5 months on the bench at CARLISLE before they binned him off early

Most people in the game will tell you the same, anyone decent will make the step up to first team pretty quickly - about 95% will end up in L1/L2 or non league

At some point you have to see what they can do and they sink or swim.

Harry Kane was fucking useless out on loan from Spurs but it all went right when finally given a chance at Spurs.

We have loaned out Cullen for example but could he be worse than Sanchez?

Lertie,

I dont really think the 1st/2nd division matters that much in terms of the under 23s. The teams are hit and miss a lot of the time dependent upon the loan approaches of the bigger clubs etc.

I think Man Utd are in our division? Also, we have comfortably beaten a couple of 1st division clubs in the international league or whatever its called.

Re: Our youngsters
Surely Coventry is better than Sanchex? Holland as a wing option late on? Even the striker (Scully is it?) seems to have a goal scorers instinct? other clubs seem to have a couple of their young ones coming through ....where are ours?

Re: Our youngsters
Problem is "their league" is only the second division, think that's what depresses me the most, there are no kids knocking on the door
